There are some stories that are not easy to write.

Some stories come from places so deep, so painful, and so personal that putting them into words means reopening parts of your heart you never imagined you would share. A Mother’s Journey: Held by Faith is one of those stories.

This memoir was born out of one of the hardest seasons of my life. It is the true story of heartbreak, fear, faith, and the fight to keep going when tragedy changed everything. At the center of this story is my son, and the journey we were forced to walk through pain, trauma, and the long road of healing.

As I wrote this book, I found myself not only looking at what happened in those painful days, but also reflecting back on my own life. In doing that, I began to see something I had not fully understood before. I could see how God had been preparing me all along. Through hardships, losses, fear, and seasons I did not always understand, He was building strength in me that I would one day need.

There were moments when I felt like I had nothing left. Moments when fear became part of everyday life. Moments when I had to keep standing, keep praying, and keep believing even when everything around me felt uncertain. But through it all, God never left. He carried us, sustained us, and reminded me again and again that I was not walking alone.

A Mother’s Journey: Held by Faith is more than my story. My prayer is that it will be a message of hope to anyone who is walking through heartbreak, grief, fear, or circumstances that feel too heavy to bear. I pray readers will see that even in the darkest valleys, God is still present. He is still faithful. He is still working.

This book is deeply personal to me, and sharing it with the world is not something I take lightly. But I believe with all my heart that God can use even our deepest pain for a greater purpose. If this story helps even one person hold on a little longer, trust God a little deeper, or feel a little less alone, then it will have been worth it.
