Kennedy Grace Film Productions, in association with Held by Faith: The Podcast, is currently developing a faith-based documentary exploring heaven, judgment, eternal life, and the hope believers have through Jesus Christ.
Few questions have followed humanity longer than this one: what happens after we die?
It is a question asked in grief, whispered in hospital rooms, carried through funerals, and searched for in moments when life feels fragile. Is heaven real? Will we stand before God? Will we see Jesus? Will we know the people we loved? And what does Scripture truly teach about entering eternity?
Those questions are at the center of a new documentary now in production, Heaven: What the Bible Says About It.
Produced by Kennedy Grace Film Productions, in association with Held by Faith: The Podcast, the documentary is being developed as a reverent, cinematic, and biblically grounded exploration of eternity. Rather than leaning on speculation or cultural ideas of heaven, the film turns directly to Scripture to examine the promises, warnings, and hope found in God’s Word.
The documentary will guide viewers through several of the most meaningful questions surrounding heaven and eternal life, including what happens after death, what judgment means, what Jesus taught about salvation, what the Bible reveals about the presence of God, and the hope of a new heaven and a new earth.
For Wendy Rollin, award-winning documentarian, author, podcast host, and founder of Held by Faith: The Podcast, the project is deeply connected to the larger mission behind her work: pointing people toward faith, hope, healing, and the truth of Jesus Christ.
“This documentary is not about guessing what heaven might be like,” Rollin shares. “It is about looking at what God has already revealed through Scripture and allowing that truth to bring hope, comfort, and clarity.”
Known for creating faith-centered content that speaks to grief, perseverance, testimony, and the presence of God through difficult seasons, Rollin approaches the subject of heaven with both care and conviction. The documentary is designed to speak not only to believers, but also to those who are grieving, searching, questioning, or longing to better understand what lies beyond this life.
At its heart, Heaven: What the Bible Says About It is a film about hope. It does not avoid the reality of death, judgment, or eternity. Instead, it brings those realities into the light of Scripture and points viewers to the promise of eternal life through Christ.
The project is expected to blend narration, biblical references, atmospheric visuals, and a reflective tone that invites viewers to pause and consider eternity through the lens of God’s Word. From the words of Jesus to the vision of the new heaven and new earth described in Revelation, the documentary seeks to remind audiences that for those who belong to Christ, death does not have the final word.
In a world where conversations about death are often avoided or softened, this documentary enters that space with honesty, reverence, and biblical hope. It is for anyone who has wondered about heaven, grieved someone they love, questioned what comes next, or needed to be reminded that God’s promises reach beyond this life.
Heaven: What the Bible Says About It is currently in production, with voiceover recording and visual development underway. Additional updates will be shared as the project continues moving forward.
