At 85 years old, Dr. David Jeremiah continues to preach, teach, write, interview, and point people back to the Word of God.

In a world that often celebrates what is new, fast, and young, there is something powerful about seeing someone remain faithful over time. Dr. Jeremiah’s continued ministry is not simply meaningful because of his age. It is meaningful because it reflects endurance, discipline, and a life still committed to the calling of God.

In a time when many people wonder whether their season of usefulness has passed, his continued witness reminds us that God can still use a willing life at any age.

For decades, David Jeremiah has been known as a pastor, Bible teacher, author, and founder of Turning Point. He has served as senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church and has reached people through radio, television, books, digital ministry, public Bible teaching, and interviews that continue to encourage believers around the world.

But the deeper encouragement is this: he is still bearing fruit.

Psalm 92:14 reminds us that God’s people can still bear fruit in later years. That verse speaks to something our culture often forgets. God does not stop using a person simply because they have entered a later season of life. Wisdom still matters. Prayer still matters. Testimony still matters. A steady witness still matters.

Dr. Jeremiah’s example reminds younger believers to build their lives on Scripture now. It reminds older believers that their witness is still needed. And it reminds all of us that faithfulness is not only about one moment of courage. Sometimes faithfulness looks like showing up again and again, year after year, with the same commitment to truth.

A faithful witness is not always loud. Sometimes it is steady.

It is the person who keeps opening the Bible.

The person who keeps pointing others to Christ.

The person who keeps serving when it would be easier to step back.

The person who keeps using the season God has given them.

That is what makes this kind of life worth noticing.

David Jeremiah’s continued ministry reminds us that as long as God gives breath, there is still purpose. There is still someone to encourage. There is still truth to share. There is still hope to proclaim.

And there is still fruit to bear.

Maybe that is the encouragement many of us need. We do not have to wait for a perfect season to serve God. We do not have to be young, famous, polished, or standing before a large audience. We simply have to be faithful with what God has placed in our hands.

Faithfulness may look different in every season, but it still matters.

Who has been a steady witness of faith in your life?
